In a recent article on Tallahassee.comformer Florida state Senator Robert W. McKnight was featured for his book : "The Golden Years…The Florida Legislature, '70s and '80s. Reflections on Campaigns and Public Service” and a visit he made to Maclay School in Florida. Senator McKnight met with 80 of Maclay’s students who are studying civics and Florida government on March 29.
According to the article, The senator’s discussion included the transition of the governance of Florida from a rural legislative body to a progressive governing body during the 1970s and '80s. McKnight spoke about how the leadership of former governors Reubin Askew and Bob Graham, with him he himself served, as being the forefront of this transformation.

The book is under contract to be made into a television documentary by public television, and is available in local bookstores or at Amazon.com. His eBook, published by Infinity Publishing, is also available for sale on Amazon.com.
